The artist had pencils and paints since he was seven. He painted his first drawings in the Sunday school of Shheglovskiy Monastery of Holy Mother of God. Then he studied at the Children's Art School of V. Polenov in Tula. After the 11th grade of secondary school he became a student of the Tula College of Arts of A. Dargomyzhskiy. Also he studied in the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of Ilya Glazunov. He is the author of landscapes, portraits and still-lifes, which characterized by the complexity of technique and classical coloristics.
The artists sees his place in art not in innovation and fashion, but in preservation the traditions of the Russian landscape. He is the prize-winner of Delphic games in painting nomination (2007). He is a participant of plein-air and exhibition in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Greece, Italy, China and Russia.
