Graphic artist, sculptor. Elista, Russia

The artist was born in the village of Yasnoe Sun in Altai. Then he lived and worked in Elista. He created images of Vladimir Favorsky working on the epos "Dzhangar" and bogatyr Hongra. In the '90s, he put heroes in the steppe space. Stepan creates monuments to Kalmyk poets and artists - Baatr Basangov, Lidzhi Injiev, Harry Rokchinsky, futurist and poet Vasily Khlebnikov. His works can be seen in the Vasily Khlebnikov House Museum in Astrakhan and in the Poet's Museum in the village of Ruchyi, Novgorod Region. The artist was awarded a silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts. In 2012 he was awarded the title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Kalmykia". Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in cities of Russia and Japan.
