The theme of the festival is to celebrate the 75^th anniversary of Volgograd and Coventry becoming twin cities, which laid the foundation of the global twin cities movement. Artists from 11 countries presented works of art created in the artist-in-residence "Creation of the Mir", which began to work a week before the festival. The dream of many Volgograd citizens, the artist Victor Losev and architect Efim Levitan came true. The Mira Street became a pedestrian street. Also the event was joined by the Volzhsky city, where the artists went to the most beautiful and romantic Fountain Street to paint the city and passers-by. More than 12 thousand Volgograd citizens and guests took part in the festival events.
